So, here's the deal. I'm about to have my 59th birthday. That gives me a little over a year to be sensational by sixty. I've got a plan. I've implemented it. I've shared it a little in social media.
1. Walk myself to healthy. I have started walking nearly every night with my neighbor, typically except Wednesday. Joan and I walk 2.5 miles on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Monday night I'm typically at Bible Study. Wednesday night I walk with another neighbor, Donna. She and I walk three miles.
2. Read more books. Not that I don't read enough, but I have a lot of books here that I've been dying to dig into. As of May of this year, the digging began.
I recently finished The Mermaid's Sister by Carrie Anne Noble. Although this is a young adult novel, I found myself captivated by it from the moment I heard Carrie Anne read the first chapter. When a book draws me in from the first line, I say "It's delicious."

3. I have another degree to finish. I recently turned in my test and classwork on Psalms.
I made an A. (Go, me!)
4. There's one other thing I'm working on ... but I'll stay quiet about that for now. :)
